What is HireVue?

If you’re a Scheme finalist, the first step in the learning and selection phase is to complete a short introductory video on a platform called HireVue.

Why do I need to complete this step?

HireVue is the online platform we’ll use to find out more about you and what you’re interested in.

The video won’t impact whether or not you are a Scheme finalist – that’s already decided, but it will help us decide which department you might be best suited to for the traineeship, and which Learning and Selection Day you’ll attend.

How does it work?

Our Scheme Team will send you the links and joining instructions as well as answer any questions you might have.

Once logged in to HireVue, you’ll be able to familiarise yourself with the platform and run some practice questions to get used to the format and do technical checks such as internet connection and sound.

What should I expect?

You’ll be introduced to the Scheme Team who will have recorded their own video, so you can get to know us a little better too.

There will then be a few questions for you to answer in your video responses.

You won’t need to prepare, and there won’t be any questions that would require you to have any publishing knowledge.

Instead, we’ll be wanting to get to know you as a person, what your interests are and what allows you thrive at work.

“The whole process is wired to find the absolute best in you, so trust that you can just do your thing and the wonderful Scheme team will do the rest!”
